I wear an 8 and have a wide foot. I ordered a EUR 38. They were pretty tight across the top and through the instep and toe box. I returned them and ordered a 9. Better but one shoe seemed smaller and narrower. I know my right foot is slightly bigger but the appearance of the shoe even looked narrower. The left shoe has plenty room, and the right foot although I can fit the tip of my pinky in the back, it’s definitely a bit tighter than the left shoe. I’ve had Dansko clogs in the past that lasted 15 years to where the sole literally split in half that’s how much wear I’ve gotten out of hem The material used today is not rubber like the styles 15 years ago. The surface texture is coated material. Note: look at the video of how the shoe should fit. The heel does lift slightly out of the shoe when you walk, but you will not walk out of them.
