This combed cotton is very very soft but not flimsy, it feels very nice to the touch. The color is accurate and a very pleasant shade.Packaging is so lovely, very suitable for gift giving makes these linens look like the most expensive ones you can buy. And they look and feel like it as well.I am partial to natural non synthetic materials and thought only Egyptian cotton or Supima cotton with high thread counts would be the softest and best, the problem is that is just the beginning, it's how they process the cotton fibers that makes the difference. I'm not a fan of the Sateen finish, to shiny and slippery, same for the Percale to heavy. I found by doing some research that combed or brushed cotton makes for a matte finish and a very soft feel, often used in high end t shirt material.Just a note these sheets and pillow cases do shrink and wrinkle pretty badly, so be careful with drying.I bought it as a gift for my friend.
