The advertised picture makes the bed look waayyyy bigger than it actually is. A 4yr old child would have to bend down under the tent it’s very low to the ground. Installation was easy instructions book was clear except for part when deciding which side to put ladder and which piece to use and how to flip it. Other than that very sturdy my son loves it but for it being soo small I don’t think it’s worth the money.My son loves this bed! It was somewhat difficult to put together. And one of the pegs on a piece of the drawer was snapped off. But I emailed the seller, and they shipped me a replacement part right away. No problems at all.Cute bed, good quality. Stairs where a bit difficult to understand instructions but eventually figured it out. Totally worth it. My son is so happy with it would definitely recommend.My son bought this bed for my granddaughter as she had outgrown her junior bed. We had seen something similar in a store close by, but the price was excessive and it didn't even come with a mattress {this one also does not come with a mattress}.The material of the bed is old wood, not composite, but real wood. It did take some time assembling the bed but it was worth it when my granddaughter opened her bedroom door and saw her bed.There is so much space for storage in this bed. The added space in the drawers {on the stairs} is amazing. The play space under the bed can hold a lot of toys, my granddaughter playing and also myself.I can't say enough good things about the bed. If you are thinking of purchasing one, do it.Our son is 15 years old and he loves this bunk bed.He made a space for our dog in the lower floor and put lights and an inflatable seat. We all love it. My son is pretty tall and this bunk bed fits perfectly. It also feels really strong and safe .Made of real wood.Nice bed. Very sturdy. Had 250 lbs on it with no creaking or wobbling. We have 8 foot ceilings and it still leaves plenty of room. We got a 9 inch mattress and it leaves 5 inches of railing to keep our child in. I would like if it were a little higher but it does its job. The drawers are sturdy. Our daughter loves it. The tent that goes around needs a better way to secure it. It uses a velcro and double sided tape. It would be easy to secure it better yourself with some tacks or better tape. Overall it a just what we were looking for.Easy to assemble, took probably about 2 and a half hours with two people. Very sturdy perfect for a toddler.
