Bed was purchased for my toddler. It will do for now but certainly wouldn't hold up to a lot of jumping and rough housingBed frame cracked sfter a week. I wrote to company. No replyMy mother had a hard time getting into her bed at night because the bed was too tall. This is the perfect height for her! It’s a nice looking bed, too.Assembly wasn’t bad but the spindles on the headboard and footboard want to come apart when trying to screw everything together. Takes two people to do that part. The frame itself is sturdy enough for my 30 pound toddler but I wouldn’t trust with a teen or older. The stickers are stuck on the visible sides of the frame which is incredibly irritating. Seriously though, WHY?! It’s honestly a chincey product all together and I definitely wouldn’t buy again for the price. It’ll do for now.It was very tedious to put together but it looks cute over all and my daughter loves it.I had purchased one bed already from here last year and thought I’d be getting the same product but this time in another color, white. When it came time to assemble the bed, we noticed at least one of the pieces had a large crack running through the length of one of the frame pieces and had been glued back together. That made the holes for the screws nearly impossible to use. We were very surprised by the lack of quality this time around. My husband managed to muscle it together but I don’t think it will last for my little one as long as I would like it to.This is the second bed I purchased from amazon. This is very sturdy and pretty large twin sized bed. I can lay in it comfortably as an adult. The only thing I really don’t like about the bed, is that you can see the screw holes/heads. If you don’t mind seeing black screw holes, then this is for you. All in all this is a great value and looks cute. Very comparable to upper scale brands. Maybe spend the extra money on a nice mattress. I would stay that this is better than any IKEA or target furniture. I feel comfortable with this and know it will last several years. This did come in multiple boxes that were pretty heavy. My child jumps on this and you don’t hear any squeaks or notice any wobbling.Really liked the style of this bed that we specifically bought for our 3yr old toddler. Followed directions exactly and only used the alley wrench, never a drill, to screw each part together. As doing so we had a couple of different sides begin to split. Very saddening as we were hoping for the best on my toddlers first bed. Now we'll have to definitely buy some wood glue to make sure it doesn't continue to split and break apart. Besides that, should last enough for our toddler to grow in it for yrs.
