The screws for the desk that’s instructed to screw in are too short and cannot be assembled.… I want some kind of refund for it smh… they send a replacement but it’s still the same problemIt’s a good bed so far the instructions are not great at all trying to put it together and I had some pieces of wood with cracks in them but overall it’s works for what I need at the moment. Had some lose parts that I had to rig to make it tighter and o was missing the insert to one of the drawers. They could do a lot better with the instructions.First this is a good product it just has some downfalls. It's pine wood, very little particle board (only on the back of drawer cabinet). The wheels are smooth on the desk. I feel like the screws that are visible could benefit from caps to hide it. The drawers have one center slide/glider which I'm not sure how well will last. There are a ton of parts and it took me and my husband a good 6 hours of continuous work. We also found one piece did not have the holes drilled that were needed so we had to get the drill out and put the holes in we neededII don't feel it's going to go anywhere and being it's solid wood and not particle I'm sure we could beef it up if needed in the future. This is a good bed though and with all the storage options is great for my daughters room. Even with the furniture pushed back there's room for her too beanbags of stuffiest to go under it. The bed is very heavy, it came in two boxes which according to FedEx weighed 110 pounds and 97 pounds so you need help lifting and getting them in the house/room. Other then that is good, comparable to Ikea furniture or better just be prepared for dedicate the day and perhaps have a few tools handy just incase.It looks nice, but the wood is so soft it marks up extremely easy. The instructions are a pain, because the scale of the pieces is way off thereby confusing you on assembly.A lot of the pieces are not solid wood so don't expect the quality of, for instance, PB Kids. There were a couple of missing holes (not drilled where screws needed to be inserted) in both the bookshelf and the bed, and directions were misleading/unclear in a couple of areas, so assembly took longer than it should have. I built two sets and the second one went much faster since I corrected the instructions as I went along on the first one. Girls love their new sets and the beds seem pretty sturdy; they don't creak, or move much. It would be easy to break the dresser and desk (if your kids are as energetic as mine). Overall, these sets are a good buy for the price.The instructions are not that easy to read but if you take it slow you can figure it out. Is good quality for the price. I would definitely buy this again. 100% worth the money.Directions had multiple paged with no numbers on what pieces to assemble, also bolts that were different sizes came together with tabs...So you had to figure out what bolt was what. This made me use wrong board on the ladder and the bolt drove through the wood. Had the same thing happen on the desk top. Quarter inch too big of screw punched through the top. I left 4 messages with C.S. and have had no reply...Got hung up on once.If your good at visual lego, you might be ok!Easy to put together and extra parts but right off the bat the delivery guy left in driveway in snow and my husband is disabled and can’t move it. Had I not gone for my back pain injections that day it would have sat out there from Friday to Monday and probably been stolen. I have over 20 photos of dents, scratches, blotchy stain, split wood and all this for $1500+ I could have bought used furniture in better condition than this. Now my daughters old furniture is long gone and she’s got no where to sleep without this junk except for the floor which isn’t happening! Will never buy furniture from amazon again.
