I got this for my son who is growing out of the crib/toddler bed we have. It's high enough that he needs a step stool, which we already had. There are 2 drawers, but they are only half way under the bed. It was pretty easy to assemble (especially compared to the crib he outgrew). The white was sold out and we got the grey that is a nice neutral grey. Solid wood. The only thing we had trouble with is one of the wheels for the drawers was slightly different than the other 7. It was about a quarter inch taller and had weird predrilled holes that the others didn't have. I don't notice a difference in performance with the different wheel so w/e. Overall, if I had to buy another bed frame for another child I would go with this brand. Good directions, parts and screws came numbered in individual bags. Drawers can totally and fully roll out for when a toy gets stuck behind/under the bed too.
