This has been a hit since we finished putting it together. It took a couple nights to completely finish (about 5-6 hours). The instructions were adequate, and with a mechanical knowledge it came together fairly easily. We did have the long back piece for the top bunk come broken, probably from shipping. The seller responded quickly and sent us another which we got in about 4 days. We went ahead and were using it as the wall is there anyway to keep the boys from falling.The slide is pretty fast. My 2 yr old won't go down without holding a hand and even my 5 yr old is cautious. My 4 yr old (the top bunk sleeper) loves the speed.One side effect of the tall canopy is the small bottom bunk head space. My 2 yr old hits his head if he's not ducking so pretty tight.Overall. We're very happy with the new play area/beds.
