This sheet set is a nice thick material that is soft and opaque. It reminds me of Target's Threshold brand in their 600 thread count sheets but I honestly like this material better. However, the flat sheets are WAY TOO small. It's very short vertically and wider horizontally (but can not be flipped around to accommodate). The flat sheet can NOT be tucked in at the foot of the mattress. Unfortunately, you are really buying this set for the fitted sheet and pillowcases only. The fitted sheet will fit a huge mattress over 12+ inches and still have extra material. I just wish they would have used some of the fitted sheet's extra material to make a longer fitted sheet LOL. I ended up keeping these sheets but now I need to order a flat sheet from somewhere else to match. I hope this review helps :)I needed a new set of sheets and these are the best sheets I've purchased in years. The corners are gathered and fit snug and do not move. On the wrong side of the fitted sheet, there are tags telling you where on the bed each side should go"top or bottom" and "side" are on little tags. This definitely helps when putting on a king sized sheet. Also the material is super soft and after a few washes there arent any pills and i dont expect any. Great purchase!Ordered these a few months ago and took some time to get a good review note.. color was good, matched what I ordered. Fit nicely on my bed. Only thing I can’t stand is how much heat these hold onto, even with a fan directly on me all night and my a/c at 74 I wake up sweating and am constantly turning during the night.I was expecting a set of nice, smooth feeling sheets. These sheets are not that. They are very nicely stitched and roomy, however, for 600 thread count, they are somewhat rough. Not smooth feeling at all. For the near $70 I paid for split king size, I was really looking forward to a set of soft sheets for our new king bed. Hopefully I'll do better selecting a nice set next time.These sheets are pretty soft for the price. The fitted sheet will definitely fit a thicker matteess. If you don't have a thicker mattress, it is baggy but you can easily tuck it under the mattess. I would probably buy these again. The only problem so far is they are more red than burgandy.These sheets are not a buttery kind of soft, but I LOVE That they feel crisp when they're freshly washed. They remind me of line dried linens. They're very comfortable, and have held up well.The feel of the fabric is quite nice. I'm concerned about fraying at the seams. Not sure about durability. Wish the size would be marked on the product itself.The sheets were very nice. They were as described. Not quite as soft as expected but have only been washed one time, so hopefully they will soften with more washings, would by again
