The assembly instructions are not clear on orientation of board placements so quite a bit of assembly then disassembly to correct the build. Parts do not match the assembly instruction images. Wood lamination is very thin so easily damaged when it is shipped from the vendor. All the mounting hardware is thrown in bags so you'll need to sit and sort the screws and bolts to make sure you use the correct sizes. They state you'll only need Allen wrenches that are supplied with the kit, however you'll need additional tools and possibly a table saw which was needed to trim the back panels of the dresser portion for proper fit. Overall, not a good quality and the assembly shouldn't have taken as long as it did due to the instructions and poorly worked wooden parts. Not worth the price paid.Came with a few quality control issues. Visible patched wood marks, off center holes which made assembly impossible without getting my drill out and doing some fixes. Overall, the bed looks okay, and my son loved it, but it feels very unstable. The instructions do recommend bolting it against 2 walls, but I can’t imagine even that holding up.My wife is concerned about the safety of the bed rails with the 12 inch mattress. We may need to buy an 8 inch or taller rails.Looks great, works great. Made out of actual wood - not composite.Only flaw is that its wobbly - however, it includes wall brackets to add stability.sorry for my rant, but the bed manual is all wrong, the screws did not come separately, the parts are numbered wrong, some parts are already defective, the fedex delivery man simply threw the box, the quality of the drawers is very poor!This bed is perfect for my daughter’s room. It has plenty of space to play underneath. My only complaint is it could be a bit more stable when she is on the top. Otherwise, I am happy.This bunk bed is not good quality. It's not sturdy at all and very disappointing. When my daughter rolls over in her bed, the enter bed moves. Horrible quality. Very disappointed.
