After doing weeks of research and feeling overwhelmed with all the choices of “treehouse beds” I am so beyond happy this is the one I went with! Shipping went smoothly, both boxes arrived at the same time and undamaged. Assembly went overall very well. I highly recommend leaving the parts in one room and only taking what you need during each step into the assembly room. It is a two person job and took about 2 hours. The only issue during the assembly was at the end when we were attaching the plywood slats, they weren’t cut the best (very rough, uneven and lots of splinters) and seemed as though they would tear up the mattress if we placed it directly on them. We fixed this by getting a sheet of brown hardboard cut to size at Lowes and placing that on top. Overall I’m thrilled with the quality, sturdiness and look of this bed, my son LOVES it!
