It came with scratches and some of the parts weren’t label but other than that very happy with the productI’m glad I purchased this bed, I hope my grandson approves it. I using 8 inch foam twin mattresses, it’s just they might be too big, but more comfortable. It does not fit comfortably under the hidden trusses, so I’m trying to figure out where to store it. I would recommend 6 inch foam mattress, they would fit perfectly. Also I will be using a twin air mattress for the third bed, all and all it’s a great deal. As long a you follow the direction, then assembly is easier. I hope this helps.While it might be a little hard for one person assembly, it's worth the effort. Looks great and seems quite sturdy.Easy assembly beautiful as wellBed is good for the price, looks study for now (we'll see) and was easy to build, now be aware that the 2nd matress needs to be stored else where, there is no place under the bed to store it... that was a boomer for me.. soo for now i put it behind the bed and bpught big 24" pillows to decorate the bed and cover the matress behind it.This bed is definitely worth buying if you have the patience to assemble it. Lots of pieces and it’s probably best to have two people when assembling. Totally worth it for a smaller room to have the option to pull it out into a king when you have guests stay over.Assembly took the 2 hours I expected, after reading other reviews. It is just not a good quality or of durable construction. Also, the mattress size(s) needed to have the daybed covered then to be used as a king size are pretty confusing. The mattress I purchased with it (suggested by Amazon) doesn't cover the entire daybed. Now I have to buy more pillows or a larger mattress- still haven't figured out what to do.Took me a few hours to assemble it alone. I had two 8-inch twin mattresses so I couldn’t use the rolling trundle underneath but I have mattress protectors so I just zipped one up and it fit perfectly underneath without the trundle. Fully expanded its a nice big king bed. Love the bed
